Parshas VaYeshev

Some parents may have noticed that the boys enjoy ending class after 45 minutes and playing together outside in front of my house. This is a wonderful opportunity for them to play together.

However, with the coming of colder weather, this presents a special challenge. I do not have the ability to be outside and to supervise them during this time. And I am not comfortable with them being outside in the dark evening unsupervised.

One solution would be for a parent who is picking up the boys to come 15 minutes early [Sundays at 8:15 and Mondays at 7:45] and to supervise the boys playing. I do not have sufficient lighting in the back yard for me to feel comfortable sending them to play there in the partial darkness. In the alternative, I think I would feel obligated to officially end the class after 45 minutes and ask the parents to pick the boys up Sundays at 8:15 and Mondays at 7:45.

If someone would like to volunteer to watch the boys - Sundays at 8:15 and Mondays at 7:45, I would appreciate your letting me know. Otherwise I will assume that the new times for ending the Sunday and Monday classes will be: Sundays at 8:15 and Mondays at 7:45.

Monday and Wednesday classes this week are cancelled. Rebbe has to attend dinners. Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday should be as scheduled.

We are considering a Melave Malka on December 17th. Check back for updates.

Rebbe wishes everyone a terrific Shabbos
